Your change may change my future!
In august 2005 we started a campaign in all Fybeca drugstores in Guayaquil city, we invited clients to donate the change of their purchases. At the end con the campaign Fybeca Drugstore applied the 1+1 Program, it means, they gave a similar amount contribution to the collection made by their clients’ changes. Until February, 2006 it was possible to donate more than 200 houses to poor families.
Send a HOGAR message
Since December 2005 to January 2006, Hogar de Cristo and TC Television made TV campaign “Send a HOGAR message” supported by local cell operators: Porta, Alegro, and Movistar. Each message cost US$ 0.50 plus taxes..
The Goal: Funds for 100 houses.
The Results: Funds for more than 200 houses.
The beneficiaries of this campaign are families, who can not afford the cost of the house due to their extreme poverty situation (abandonment, illness, fires, inside family violence, others). Hogar de Cristo makes a socio-economical analysis of each family in order to establish the appropriate percentage of subsidy according to their real necessity.
