Christians daily experience different forms of incredulity and religious indifference, complex situations that confuse and disorient us. It may take us to some point where we can’t confront them, or distinguish the message that they transmit. This may make us to abandon a regular religious practice which may lead us to live as there is no God.

Conclusion: "When our faith is on trial and it is being threatened, it has the risk of dying, if it is not fed and constantly sustained".

Hogar de Cristo under its Pastoral Department, aims to promote faith in Christ in its personnel and beneficiaries through “The evangelistic duty”, a process based on faith in Christ, which may impulse an authentic conversion that helps to go deep inside the truth and courage of the Christian message to face a social injustice. It can also encourage people to live as Christians every day, serving and helping people in need.

In the Communities or sectors of intervention:

When users come to our facilities, we serve them without distinguish of race, religion, education level or others. However, “The Evangelistic Duty” that Hogar de Cristo is doing in the poor areas and communities (North Perimetral Way) is targeted only to Catholics and the criterion is: The belonging to a Parish.

Justification: "A parish can not be independent small islands. It must be a community in communion, it means in common union. Without the gift of the communion, given freely by the Holy Spirit, it does not exist the church communion. The Community is the fruit of Communion and Communion is experienced in Community. In order to reach an efficient practice of the Communion, the community must establish appropriate limits.” (Document of Puebla).

Integration Action:The evangelization aims making integral the Word of God, The Sacraments and Life.

The knowledge of the Word of God: Courses, workshops of Bible.

The celebration of faith in the sacraments: Formation and Training of catechist (who are in charge of catechizing kids, youth, adults in their own communities)

Coherence between Faith and Daily Life: Faith made work (work of mercy)

“Overall it is important that in community, we can check our communion and participation with the poor, the humble, and unsophisticated. Thus, it will be necessary to hear them, take their deeper aspirations, and give them value, correct leaving God guide us to live an effective communion with them in a same body and spiri." D.P. 974

There is a great harvesting and few workers

The Truth does not get to people by itself, by its own strength. The modern mistakes progress because people talk about them; they have friends and passionate servants.
