A solidarity group is a community of, a maximum of 30 families who live close to one an another in the same neighborhood. Each group has a volunteer coordinator who is a channel for the doubts and requirements of the group, and becomes a direct contact with Hogar de Cristo. It is an organized group that allows the development of any activity in an easier way than doing it separately.

The Objective: Group families, to make Community

This group may grow and get organized in scoops of 30 families (Communal neighborhood) which might be impossible for a single family, will be feasible for the Communal Neighbor: water, paths, latrines, supplies, markets for product, and a voice that defends its rights.

The Poor who know how to get organize, can rise out of poverty and, soon will be able to grow, and progress and defend their rights.
